I had a short respite from the problem but now it's back with a vengeance. Anybody else suffering??
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation. Many thanks.

I think it's affecting everybody and is making the site a pain to use. Site admin seems to have dismissed any concerns.
I'm gonna roll the dice now and click "Post Quick Reply".
No, still cannot add new text in and edit.
Times out most times and I have to reload, then the site comes up.
Something is broken somewhere.

Ah, this login, the Site is back to the good times.
Seems much better at the moment. I am able to add a message, then edit it. A little slow to physically submit the post.

Spoke too soon in post#37. Problem persists.
I asked ChatGPT about this: 'experiencing site page timeouts for all users worldwide'
and got this response:
That sounds like a significant issue. If all users worldwide are experiencing page timeouts, it suggests a problem on the server or infrastructure side. Here are some steps to diagnose and potentially resolve the issue:
1. **Check Server Health**: Ensure that your servers are running smoothly and not overloaded. Look at CPU, memory usage, and disk I/O.
2. **Review Server Logs**: Check your server logs for any errors or warnings that might indicate what’s causing the timeouts.
3. **Database Performance**: If your site relies on a database, ensure it’s performing well. Slow queries or a high number of connections can cause timeouts.
4. **Content Delivery Network (CDN)**: If you’re using a CDN, check its status. Sometimes, issues with the CDN can cause global timeouts.
5. **DNS Configuration**: Verify that your DNS settings are correct and that there are no issues with your DNS provider.
6. **Application Code**: Review recent changes to your application code. A bug or inefficient code can cause performance issues.
7. **Network Issues**: Ensure there are no network issues between your servers and the users. This includes checking for DDoS attacks.
8. **Third-Party Services**: If your site relies on third-party services (like APIs), ensure they are functioning correctly.
9. **Load Balancer**: If you use a load balancer, check its configuration and performance. It should distribute traffic evenly across your servers.
10. **Security Settings**: Ensure that your firewall or security settings are not blocking legitimate traffic.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be helpful to contact your hosting provider or a network specialist for further assistance.
Very sorry for the inconvenience. I will do something over the weekend, maybe migrate the forum to xenforo and then move to another server.
That would be great and drag the functionality into a more current state of affairs.
