Wink microsoft office pro 2016 2021 when changing win 10 to win 11 on 2 computers

    Hello
I am about to by a new laptop, a thinkpad, it will run with win11 pro
On my old one thinkpad I have office pro 2016 running on win 10 pro

I have also one other computer which I use in my office (registered on my name too) at the moment running with win 10 pro,
which I can upgrade to win 11 pro
I think it has office pro 2016 too,
The new laptop is offered with a office pro 2021 inclusive, for 650.-
Can I use the same licence on the two computers , knowing that it never use them at the same time?
If so how can I install office on my office computer ?
I take it that there is going to be only a link to the program and not a cd ?
is it better to buy separately a recognised and approved version ?

please help me to do it right
    thank you for your help

Office Pro 2021 might just be a free subscription for 1 year? I am not a fan of the subscription model.
If it is, I would uninstall it and install your 2016 after uninstalling from the old computer.

I am still running 2007 on Win11 on one computer. Does me fine.

    Well 2007 does?
I have one computer, this laptop, with 2019, purely so I can open later Access DBs.

well i take it 2016 does not run under win 11 since they sell the configuration with 2021 ? or are they just trying to sell as much as possible? wouldn’t be the first time

My logic would be, if 2007 runs, then 2010, 2016, 2019, 2021 and 365 will run on Win11.
It is common for older versions to perhaps no longer run on newer software/hardware, but if the oldest runs, I would expect those versions after would also run.

I suppose most people would complain if they were being supplied an older version of the software?

Very strange, as @June7 uses 2010 and Win10 without any issues. I suspect many others do as well.
    Wasn't 64 bit was it?

Unless you have a licence for more than one computer, you cannot run that 2021 on more than one computer.
As it came with that computer, I would guess it is tied to that computer. Might not even be transferable even?

So an extra purchase would seem required.
