    Old access hung up

I have somehow opened a very old access application (.mdb) showing the first form and it is completely hung up such that nothing responds. It is on my virtual machine on a server. HELP

Can you close it? Or use Task Manager to kill process?

Next time use Shift key bypass to open and see if tables and queries will open. Then examine code behind form.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Can't even kill process? I have no idea how else to clear from virtual machine. Reboot?

    Try on a physical machine?

If it runs on physical machine, that will be some info.

Could attach file to post and maybe someone will look at. I could try it on my laptop.

Well, you never said upfront did you?
Most people would say what they have already tried so as not to get suggestions they have already made.

Mate, as I said NOTHING works... I can't click on anything and can't shut it down but can open another later version without any problem.
