HTML in Access and Web Data Display

    Hi,

I'm new here and not sure where to post this, so my apologies if I'm in the wrong forum! I have two somewhat related -- and probably pretty basic! -- questions.

First, when I put a URL into an Access field, Access automatically makes it clickable. But is there a way to use HTML to create hyperlinks in an Access field?

Second, is it possible for the formatting (e.g. bold, bullet points) or links in an Access field to be taken over and used in the display of the Access data on a web page, e.g., through a grid component? That is, in the web display, the formatting and links will appear.

    Thanks!

    Simon

Not clear to me what you are asking. You can use html as a source to a web control and the rich text field uses html for formatting text however I don’t think you can create a hyperlink within that text. Assuming you know the html coding you could try it and see if it works.
