    Split Form with filters

    Guys

Apologies if this is too random.. I know you will tell me!

What is the best approach to achieve the following - any hints appreciated.

I want to get a data sheet, on a form and then split that form (datasheet on bottom) so that I have a bunch of check boxes on the top so that I can check them and fire a requery, to filter the data in the datasheet below.

Problems in my head so far:

    1. When I create split forms now, if I hide a field in the form on top, the field disappears in the datasheet below - I don't really want this
    2. When I build the string from the checkboxes, where is it best to apply that?

Appreciate this is multiple questions against one thread.

Am ready to be clubbed down if not approps.

    Thanks in advance however.

    Use a form/subform arrangement.

Thank you both so much for coming back to me. Sincere apologies i can't upload the database - extremely kind of you to offer to look.

I will investigate the form / subform approach and thank you all again.

As well as the link in the previous post, also have a look at another related article on my website: Simulated Split form (isladogs.co.uk)
