Touchscreen Application to record vehicle inspection results

I have a customer who wants to record vehcile inspection results on a Windows Tablet instead of a paper based form he's using currently. There are around 60 individual inspections they have to do and I was thinking of displaying them one at a time on a form where the inspector can either click pass or fail and enter a comment for each fail. Before I get started I thought I'd see any suggestions you guys might have.

Thinking radio buttons, check boxes, and toggle buttons should function nicely with touchscreen.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

on the matter of design, ensure controls are well spaced out and well sized so there is no finger trouble - and for overall size, allow for the onscreen keyboard to appear. Seen a number of poorly designed apps (and web sites for that matter) in the past where the user taps on the comment box only for the keyboard to then cover the box so the user cannot see what they are typing.

Also if your form needs to be scrollable, consider using the form mousedown/move/up events to scroll since the scrollbar can be rather small for a finger. And ideally design only for vertical scrolling. But probably better to use tabs or paging to move from one section to another.

So before you get too far into your form design - create a dummy and make sure it fits on the tablet screen with fonts etc sized for user comfort.
