Disabled subdatasheet in the table but its still displaying on the form

    Hi all,

I have a database that keeps tracks of orders. My main form is a filter form that displays the current open orders (snapshot only, no edit from this form). For whatever reason the subdatasheets for linked tables keeps displaying in my filter form, despite disabling subdatasheets in the tables. I ensured the datasheet field had [None] and when I open the tables, the subdatasheets do not show.

I've tried compact & repair a few times but they are still there. Any ideas?

Looks like the subform is based on a query, you might need to set the subdatasheet to None in the query as well as it probably inherited the setting from the original table.

Sorry for the delayed response, had a bit of an emergency situation come up and work and had to shift focus. I've looked at all the queries, they are set to [None] as well. This is really puzzling me. I might just try to unlink the tables and redo the form.

setting this to [none] where? I don't use these so had a look and found that on ribbon Home>Records>More>Subdatasheet there is the option to set (and I guess remove).

Both tables and queries have that property while in design view.
