That doesn't solve your issue about size though, does it? If anyone downloads the trial version is there any possibility that you can be helped without them having a registration key?

It is a full program as a trial because I was using it that way until I received the new registration from them.

I thought I could just replace the images with larger sizes but that didn't work either.

My excitement came because I was able to move around the DB to find the source of the image which came into question in this thread.

(I used to be a geeky girl but I had a really bad stroke in the left side of my brain and lost that. Solving even a small portion of my question is a HUGE accomplishment)

Based on all that, it sounds like there'd be no copyright violation if you posted your db rather than someone downloading, installing and having no data. Then perhaps you can be helped further. FWIW, I'm not after free book db software as I use Calibre, which is free anyway. What I don't get is why anyone would need a registration key if the user has unfettered ability to alter design. Perhaps because they are out of business it doesn't matter to them any more and that is old information on the web site.

Unless a moderator says this isn't allowed, you could compact your db if that function is available, zip the db and post it here.

You will get locked out after 30 days of the trial. It does come with a sample database with I think, 10 entries. Posting only the Access database won't help completely. The database holds only the tables. The forms and reports are within BookCAT which is some of my frustration. The editing tools are minimal. I can't even line up my fields or move a layer to the back, etc.

Ok I guess I'll leave it at that because I don't quite understand. I thought the forms were Access forms and that you could edit their design.

the entire database is in Access so everything is accessible and you can make all the forms and reports you want.

I thought so too until I started poking around with the file in Access. I might try to see if I can do everything in Access since I can customize more things in BookCAT.

Well if nothing else, I met you all and got my brain to think in a different way! I really appreciate all of your and sticking with me while I figure this out!
