Standardized formatting rules for use with different resolutions

Hello all. I'm hoping someone can share what they find to be the best 'formatting' settings for forms to allow a database to be used on any screen.

I have a fairly complicated database with about two dozen or so different forms. I designed and constructed it on my PC and tested with a few others and it seemed to be acceptable. We have recently purchased a new fleet of Dell Rugged Latitude books, but I'm finding that many of my forms extend off the screen, and since I have disabled scroll bars it makes many of the forms nearly impossible to use.

I'd like to eliminate this issue once and for all, without needing the use of scroll bars or to minimize/resize etc..

What do you guys use as your 'standard formatting rules'? I have a background form followed up a hub form which directs you to different data entry forms. The idea is that users do not possibly have access to any of the ribbons or access menus once opened, but I'd like everything to scale for full screen and fill the page appropriately, regardless of which machine it is being opened up on.

Hello isladogs. Does this method also work for windows 'scaling' options. I have two different devices, both 1920 x 1080 resolution, but one of them has a preferred scaling of 100% and the other 150%. Naturally, the 150% scaled devices does not fit all my forms on the screen very nicely. Will this method work for that issue as well? The shortcut for me here is to simply change the scaling options on all of these computers, but that feels like cheating.

I am marking this as solved and thanking everyone for their contributions. It will be marked as so because the appropriate information has been provided, however I have decided that the juice will not be worth the squeeze for me right now, and I'm going to hold off.

Although not intended for that purpose, you may be surprised to know that automatic form resizing (AFR) will still work well with a scaling of 150%.
In fact I just tested several forms at 175% using the example database supplied with that article.
The forms still fitted the screen OK though inevitably the fonts aren't quite as sharp with that magnification.

Also the automatic form resizing code includes an optional feature allowing users to zoom forms between a range specified by the developer e.g. 50% to 150%
