Access Online...

Please forgive my naiveté, but what is the best option for Access online? More specifically, I have beautiful prebuilt forms in my ACCDB file that take basic data entry through textboxes, checkboxes, and other controls. It all works great on my PC, but can't I go to a website to access the same thing?

My hope is that I can use those Forms on a site accessible by tablet. As a bonus, it would be AMAZING if I could also view Reports.

For clarity, I'm not looking to actually develop and code on the tablet... just view preexisting forms and reports.

Are they still doing the SharePoint thing or is that useless? Is something coming along to replace it?

No.

You can look at using sql azure for your back end then use an access front end on your machine/tablet to connect to the backend

Alternatively look at using terminal server or citrix. Benefit of these is both front end and back end are located on the server and can be run from any machine that supports terminal server - which includes apple machines.

If it just you, another alternative is to use team viewer/jump desktop or similar to connect to your pc and run access remotely - benefit of that is you can even run it from your smart phone.
