    Copy Table

When I copy a Table it does not replace the existing table by the same name but creates a new table with the same name. This only displays in Control Source List on a form. Currently the list contains 4 tables with the same name. I can't find a way to delete the extraneous tables or a way to keep it from happening. The system does not know which table with the same name to use and gives error messages (Go Sub with No Return).

normally you wouldnt copy and delete table. you just keep adding data to the table.
plus you cant have >1 table with the same name, but you can paste [Copy of Table], etc.

What is it you are doing that you need to copy a table?

I'm surprised you can even have more than one table with the same name. I can't replicate it, Access won't let two tables have the same name. Can you attach the db here to look at?

Every time I've seen this, it is corruption. And every time it has been corrected by creating a new empty DB and importing all objects from the original.
