Building a New Database from scratch (with no experience) and need some help please

Our company (while in this quiet time) would like to build a new database as our current one keeps crashing. We did think of trying to fix the current one but we wanted a few things changed as well.

So I have tried to enter and build as much as I can, and I think I am approx 80% finished. But having problems finalising a few things to get them to work properly.
I have tried googling and researching, but when you don't know what things are called it is a little hard. Also have tried to look at different threads for help, but I don't fully understand them all. Have tried to copy things from the current one, but they don't always work.

So I was wondering if there was someone out there that could help us finish building our new database.

As I know what needs to be fixed to make it work, but I don't know the questions to ask.

Lots of people are here to help, you haven't given any info. Perhaps if you describe what you have and what needs to be fixed. Maybe even attach the db here and give the steps to recreate the problem.

Question 1:
- Why isn't all of the retrieved information coming across.
- Example - On the attached file / Passenger Booking Form / Edit Passenger Booking Form / the first names of the clients are not coming up? The surnames are correct?

I'm not sure what you mean. There are no first names saved in the table. If I enter one, it is saved and comes up next time I visit that record.

Here's a few notes:
1. I see data duplication in the [Passenger Booking] table and [Passenger Details] table. Each 'passenger' having a female and male name doesn't make sense to me. Do some research on 'data normalization'
2. Your tables aren't linked. Look up 'ms access referential integrity'
3. As Paul said, the first names you're looking for in the Passenger Booking form aren't in the source table, re. note #1 I'm not sure they should be duplicated in the booking table anyway.
4. You're off to a impressive start for a first timer.

That's a good point (normalization), I didn't look at the structure.

I am sorry but I have no idea what you are talking about.
I have just tried to copy our current database on what is happening and this is how it was set up. And I have this information showing up in other areas.
This is why I have asked for some help (fixing what I have done), as I don't understand all the terminology and maybe how things work together properly.
