    How to import Images (as attachments in Access) in a Union Query?

    I am trying to create a Union Query which also imports Attachments (in this case images of signatures collected by field personnel on iPads).
    I have tried various ways such as attachment.value format in the SQL view, but nothing is working. I can get all of the data that I want but not the images. Any recommendations?

    is this not the same issue that you have posted here - and has answers?:

    Yes, the Union Query solves all my problems but so far I can't load images. So, I am still trying to resolve that part.

    I don't see the reason for starting a new thread. It's the same problem, and I gave you an answer as to how to get the images, which is what you're asking about here. Yet there you didn't report back as to whether or not it worked. You might not like what I'm saying, but as unpaid volunteers we dislike cross posting the same issue even more - even if it's in the same forum.

    I agree with Micron on the cross post issue especially when the other post contains a lot of background. If unaware of it we would need to ask all the questions over again.

    It seems to me you ignored Post #8 & 10 in the other thread.

    Access doesn't play well with horizontal data. You'll be banging your head against the wall and looking for work arounds unless you normalize your data.
    Most importantly you have not revealed what that data looks like so its even more difficult to propose solutions.

    @MIcron and moke123,

    I apologize for the cross posting. I am not a typical user of this forum but I will not transgress in the future. I posted on the original thread that I have come up with a workaround my problem by only using the first of many signatures in my Form.

    Again, sorry for the double post and thank you for your help.
