    How to use a textbox from a report in a form?

    Hi, every1,

    I have a Text Box in Report A. It is in the footer of Report A, it has a formula in it: Text39 =([TEXT17])-([Text37]) and works fine in Report A. I just want Form B (form, not report) to show the exact same amount, but I am having a ridiculously hard time to do that.

    I have tried the Formula Builder to no avail. Things like =[Form]![ITAŚ SALDO]![Texto15] just don't work.

    Does anyone have a hint?

    Thanks in advance!

    So =Reports!reportname.Text39 doesn't work?

    This is a rather odd requirement. Usually reports reference forms.

    If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.
    How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

    The weirdest thing is that it all is working now. What? The exact same things I tried before. I am not sure if I accidentally added a blank space to the variable or, maybe, because I closed the database and opened it again some minutes after... I really don't know, but it is working now, I mean =Reports!reportname.Text39.
    Thank you very much anyway June7!

    Exclamation

    Actually I just found out that the report has to be open so that its text39 appears in the form.
