I'm building a table and have an existing drop down menu in one of the columns. Is there a way to add another item to the drop down list?
Thanks

take a look at the similar threads section of this post - you'll find examples there
there is also this link https://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=79571
edit: just realised you are talking about in a table. The answer is no, fields in tables do not have events, and you need an event to trigger the update. You can of course do an update manually in the associated table, but drop downs in tables are considered a bad idea - see this link http://access.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm
I'm new to building a database i Access and don't have much time to get it done. Is there someone who can get on GoToMeeting (I have an account) with me and help me get this set up properly? I made a form and when adding a new item, it doesn't go to the table.
Thanks
Not me I'm afraid, it's what I do for a living so would have to charge. Happy to point you in the right direction
With regards your table not updating, check you have the table name as the form recordsource. Alternatively, if you have created your table, highlight it and then select Form on the create ribbon. That will create your form. Move/resize controls as you see fit or use it to see 'how it's done
I'm willing to pay for your time. An hour should do it. Today, if possible.
sorry, not possible at short notice, I have an existing project I have a deadline to finish
@BaldEagleOne
You haven't provided any info about your project. Really hard to provide focused responses.
Provide more info and maybe post your dB.
