Query Pivot Table Refreshes With Error

    Hello

Just discovered the simple delight of turning a query from datasheet into a pivot table and finding that within a couple of clicks I've got the simple looking bar chart I needed (and thought I needed to export to Excel to achieve). Brilliant. But I had anticipated that whenever new data was added that fitted theterms/criteria of this query it would show in the pivot once Id clicked therefresh data button. It doesn't. Instead I’m getting a Enter Parameter Value error messagesaying ‘Query1’. Is it possible for you to point out where I might have gonewrong?

    Thanks.

I've never used the Pivot features - i build a chart with chart control. I know this will update dynamically.

So I tried a pivot on table and cannot replicate your issue. If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Pivot tables were dropped in version 2013? You might not want to get too dependent on them unless you stick with 2010.
Often was said "don't use pivot tables in Access, use chart instead". AFAIC, Access charts are slightly less painful than a root canal.
