Hi Rixxie, sorry, I think I'm going to have to admit defeat on this; your last post has me even more confused, as I have no idea what to do with it or how to deploy it.

I know its a lot to ask, but would it be possible for you to write all the queries and code required into the sample database?

I realise this is kind of cheating on my part, but once I can see how the pieces fit together I'll be able to study them and rewrite them into my own db as an exercise, rather than copying from the sample. At least that way I'll be able to get familiar with the various concepts. I'm not in a rush now as I can work from home over the xmas break and play with it then.

Once again, thanks for your asistance and have a verry merry Xmas and a happy New Year.

    Hi Mike,

I'm afraid there is a better way to do this (Obviously) with VBA code, but really i don't know enough to help you with that.
And as no one else jumped in, ive done the same job with Union queries:

    Query Name:
    UnionConsistsToolStream

You might have to change the prices, and link back to the quantities again if they are wrong, but it has all the properties of MUK without MUK, and its in one Column!

You can then perform any queries that you want afterwards with it.

I'd recommend, if you are going to update this often, you find a better way, or you change my query so it's easier to update.

Have a lovely christmas and new year, all the best with any future projects.

    Best regards.

    Rixxe.

Hi Rixxe, I've just got round to checking in on the forum, so I'll try your solution on some more test data before I put it to work on live stuff. I'll do this in the next day or so then if all seems OK I'll close the thread (or, I may have to come back again...!).
once again Kindest regards and thanks for bearing with me.
    Mike
