Advice on updating data

Hello



Looking for advice on the best method of updating data.
Lets just say I have an employee table with around 100 employees and another Table with records of job positions. And, every so often I want to update when they have changed job title. And, there is a one to many relationship between them.

For, that I will run a report from SAP to see if they have changed Job Title and then I want to update the access database and I was hoping not to have to do this manually.

I do not use SAP so can not describe any automated approach to update your MS Access database.
Perhaps you could describe to readers
-why you have SAP and Access databases for Employee info,
-how these are synchronized/which is the authority
-any info you have re extracting data from SAP in csv, txt ... format.

The access database is been considered for our succession planning. Which is just a small project. Someone was trying to administer this with a number of spreadsheets.
You can run reports in sap and the data can be exporting into csv, excel format. Thanks

Hmmm? Not sure what the scope of this project might be.
However, a little google search found this that may help with setting up project structure.
Hope it's helpful at least to know what could be involved.
