    Forms & Subforms

How many levels deep can make subforms? Ideally, I'd like to have one Form A, with Subform B, then a Subform C within Subform B. One a daily basis, I get data from multiple vendors for the same customer. Within the data from the vendor will be several records associated with each customer.

So Form A will include customer information, Subform B would include the Vendor level information. Then Subform B has the Detail information specific to the vendor and customer. On any given day, I could have multiple variations of data at each level. Due to various privacy laws, the information cannot be mixed between vendors.

I think 7 deep, most I have seen is 3.

However, I do not think Vendor is dependent to Customer. I think what you need is main form bound to Customer, subform bound to C with a combobox to select vendor.

Thanks, June! "Vendor" isn't quite the right term, but it was the closest I could come up with on the fly. The source of the data isn't really the important part. In fact, we don't even track the specific vendor since we will send the identical response to all vendors, regardless of who we received it from. It's the specific level of detail information provided by the vendor identifying the case that's important. An individual customer can have multiple internal accounts, and multiple documents/information related to each internal account, and that information can be received from multiple vendors. So between the customer and us, there's a many to many relationship involved.
