Change appearance of control box @ top of form

Hi all, I'm finally coming round to using access 2016 - been using earlier versions for about 15 yrs. The first thing I noticed was the control box across the top of each form is a glaring white and I can't see how to change it to a more friendly color. The only choice I've found is to change it to red by changing the whole theme of Access. It seems like a simple thing but have they done away with making the top bar look decent. I've always just used the top bar on my forms and had the name of the form in it. Am i to assume that you have to set the border style property to none and then make your own top bar? I appreciate any insights into what I can do and how to do it.

Not trying to be funny here, but maybe you should just play around for a while and see if it becomes tolerable. Note that I didn't say acceptable. Whoever designed the interface in 2016 must have missed the classes on gui design because it sucks big time. You might as well cave in or you're going to spend a lot of time over something that will probably change in the next big release - probably for worse.

Thanks for the reply Micron. I spent a couple of hours looking for how to change it cause I think it looks gaudy and unprofessional. Anyway, I guess I'll have to spend more time making my own title bars in the header. I don't know why these big companies change something that was all right just so they can say they updated a program. !@#$%^&*() I guess I'll leave this open in case someone has an idea, but anyone can close it if they want. Thanx

I have done things like add the header and footer and coloring the 3 sections, disallowing the control box, etc but you have to provide your own controls if you want to reproduce the effect of the control box. If you forget about minimizing and restoring functions, it simplifies things a bit. I agree; making things uglier is hardly an improvement.
