Search Box in Task Management template

I have been playing around with the Task Management template in Access 2010. In the Task List form there is an unbound textbox to search the contents of the form. For the life of me I cannot work out how this works. As far as I can tell there is no event associated with the search box so I cannot understand how any underlying macro is fired. Any ideas?

    Example Database attached

So here is the example database. The Task List form is the one to look at. The unbound text box for searching the records works fine but I do not understand how. I would expect the afterupdate event (or some other event) to trigger defining the filyer and then activating it but there seems to be no event associated to this control or to the form to trigger this

I would have too, and I don't see any code that would filter it. I think it's because it's a split form, where the header and detail are kept in sync automatically. I haven't used one myself but that appears to be how it's working. The logic is hidden, one reason I don't use them (or lookup fields, multi-value fields, etc).
