    Creating extended table fields

I have a table which containing fields like First Name, Last Name, City, etc. this table is a linked to a read only table, I want to create a table that contains additional fields such as Gender, Age, Weigh, Hight etc, so partially the data has to be linked from another table and the table in use I will extend the information by adding other information as Gender, Age, Weigh, Hight , how can I do that or is there an any template I can download from?

    Thanks

The Table wizard has fields you need only click on to add.
you CAN add these to your FirstName, City table.
    it also has templates.

ranman may have been thinking of query wizard and building a query of your source data.

You need to create a local table with the Table designer. It will have a 1-to-1 relationship with the linked source. The link will have primary key and save that value as foreign key to the local table.

What field will be the primary key?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
