    Design Tab

    Hi.

I am trying to append some data in Access 2016. At my surprise, I cannot find the Design Tab and I know that was at the Ribbon because I used a few weeks ago.
How can I get it back?

    Thank you.

Appending data would probably be done via the External Data tab. You'd need an object in design view to see the design tab.

You want to run an existing query to append? All you do is double click it in the nav pane, or right click & select 'open' or to put it in design view. I don't think you'll find any queries by going to the External Data tab.

You wouldn't. You've assumed query, I assumed importing from a file. OP wasn't specific so either could be true.

If you click link, you will only find tables
If you click import, you will find all local objects including queries, form, reports etc
