    Importing data from Excel

When I import data from an Excel sheet into the appropriate table in my DB, I find that once the import is complete, that table has about twice the number of records in it as before the import, and half of them are blank.

Any ideas what might cause that? Happens when importing to all my tables.

When in the Excel sheet, hit End then Home and that takes you to the bottom right edge of the spreadsheet. Is it where you expect? You may have to delete the empty rows before importing, or modify your import routine to only import populated records.

You can also press the <F5> key, click on the "Special" button (bottom left), then select the "Last Cell" radio button. Click OK.
Finds the last row and the last column.
