Me too but also sorry it took so much of your time. In spite of my incomplete understanding of binding and with confidence in what I was doing with a combo and its associated event procedures, I should have pursued my suspicions sooner about a possible corrupted form. Access isn't a perfect world when it comes to copy/paste of its programming elements, especially reports.
Again, sorry I had you spending so much time on this issue before I woke-up.

I think your confusion delayed arriving at the solution, but the concept of control binding shouldn't be a barrier next time. What about early vs late binding for object libraries (references)? You're up to speed?
