    Sounds like a Find Unmatched query. Access has a wizard for that.

    You can try the Unmatched query wizard, but even though I read your explanation at least twice, I'm not getting it completely. If that doesn't work I think you'll have to post some sample problem data and the desired results. Might be a good thing if you did that automatically from now on when posting such a question.

    this Jobs and Assemblies is not the name of your table, surely??
