AfterUpdate event won't refresh subform!

Thank you. I would have been trying that this morning had I not worked it out late last night, but it could prove useful in the future.

I solved the problem by putting the requery code in the Got Focus events of the combo boxes rather than the Lost Focus events of the text boxes that were supplying the list values.
