Question Split form does not open in nav form

Hi, My problem is the following:I have a "split form" if I open it directly there is no problem, if I open it via a "nav form" I get only one part of the "split form" the "data sheet" does not show, this counts for all "split forms"in the "nav form".The settings for displaying "ds" r all set to yes, both in the "split form" and in the "nav form"What am I missing?Hope someone can help me.Thank you.

Split forms & navigation forms are notoriously difficult to adapt from anything other than their default layout.
For that reason, many experienced developers avoid them

You could try using the emulated split form in this link and see if that works any better.

Use the version in post 6

If not, I would recommend making your own custom forms

The problem is that when a Form is opened via a Navigation Form it is actually considered to be a Subform by Access...and one of the drawbacks of a Split Form is that doesn't display as a Split Form when it is used as the Source Object of a Subform.

Using an emulated split form, as ridders52 suggested, is probably going to be your only workaround.

Thanks for the tips and the quick response (again).
I'm going to try it with a custom "form"
