How to get the Access ribbon to display again.

I have a 2007 access database that I created about seven years ago and now I am trying to migrate to 2016 database. The database was split into a back and front end, and I also got rid of the ribbon so that no one would be able to change anything-- I do have a menu to manipulate the records. I know there is a way to get that ribbon back and I believe it is with a key combination that will allow me to bring the ribbon back to look at my settings which I no longer remember or have written down. I would appreciate any input and thank you in advance.

Try holding shift key while opening db. Then go File>Options>CurrentDatabase if you want to change opening options.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
