How to edit the event

Hi All,
I'm new please forgive if i'm posting the most silliest questions. I am using forms to enter payroll. My IT guys created a VM and it has access db on it. The pay roll was entered for 3 days mon,tue and wed. When i entered for thursday and friday ,saturday and clicked on process payrolls it just processed the ones that i entered and not the existing ones. When i clicked reprocess again out of ignorance thinking it might correct, it processed the data that I entered again. How can i fix this please need help

I'm sorry but we have no idea what is happening behind the "process payrolls" button or process. You'll need to find a way for us to see what it is doing. Posting the db would be the most complete method, removing any private information of course. If you do attach the db, please do a Compact and Repair first and then zip up the db for posting. The other method would be to post whatever code/macro executes for the process.

thanks rural guy but where should i even look , i mean how to look what is behind it (the button or process)?

Go into design view for the form (right-click should do it), then click on the button, open the properties window if it isn't open already, scroll down under "All" to near the bottom, find a property called OnClick, and post the results. If it is a macro, post a picture of it, if it is code then copy the entire subroutine and paste it here - use the "#" code tags.
