Convert Access Database from 2010 to 2013

    Hi guys,

For work I have created a database in access 2010 and everything runs fine. I recently sent it to another co worker that's works in another department to try the database. Nothing worked for her and I figured out that she has access 2013. How do I update my database to 2013 and if I do, can people with 2010 still work with it? How do I make it that people with 2010 and 2013 can both use the database even though its made on 2010.

    Thanks a lot!

A database created in Access 2010 should definitely work in Access 2013. Newer versions usually do not have problems with any functionality from older versions (especially when it is only one version earlier!).
There were not any major changes between 2010 and 2013.

I would say there is probably something else going on. The top three things I can think of are:
    - the user has Macros/VBA disabled on the database (they need to enable them, if the database uses any)
    - the user is missing a VBA library (if you go into the VBA Editor, then go to Tools -> References, look at all the libraries selected; then have the user do the same, and make sure they are not missing any of the selections)
    - your databases links to certain places on your network that the user does not have access to (or they have different drive mappings)
