    BE / FE new table linking


    how do I link BE new table to FE?

    External Data -> Linked Table Manager

    Thanks for the reply. I have tried that though. I have created a new table on the back end which is on the company server. If I go to the linked table manager, the new table does not appear in the list and it just shows the original tables with check boxes at the side of each.

    I'm assuming 2010 is similar to 2007.
    1. Go to the External Data tab
    2. Choose Access the in Import section
    3. Browse to the BE DB
    4. Select the option to Link to the data source
    5. Choose the new table
    6. (Possibly enter login info if password protected)
    7. OK out
