Bar code scan conected to other fields

Hi,

I made may form , I am doing scan from bar code for one of the field (serial number). With S/N are connected other fields. I would like after scan see this fields fill out from access database which I put down few days ago. Basically access should searching after scan and fill automatically fields. I attached screen shot.

Hard to be sure without knowing your db structure better, but probably just need to do a query that joins tables.

Then I really don't understand what you need. If you are entering a new record, where is the info supposed to come from - another record with the same serial number? This is not a normalized data structure and that is the source of your difficulty.

If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.
