Exexuting access files from onedisk

I cannot execute .accdb files saved on onedrive cloud. When I open the application and select open to open a file saved on onedrive, the application just sits there and soon closes and goes back to the onedrive library. All of my other office files execute appropriately, only access has the issue. Has anyone else had this problem?

When I double click on an .accdb file on onedrvie it ask what I want to do (save, save as or cancel). If I open the application and try to open the file it just clocks and then goes back to the open page

well your immediate work-around is to move the file temporarily to your PC, work on it, and then return it to OneDrive.....

I was an early adopter of DropBox and so do not use OneDrive although I have it as part of my 365 Account. You should post this issue over in a OneDrive forum. With DropBox one can open and operate a cloud saved Access file however it cannot be the back end of a multi user application.

I uploaded a little test .accdb to OneDrive and it ran fine from there. Mine was simple, no split, no linked tables.
