Help... I screwed up something in my Access Data base, only affected when I do a query

I don't know what in the world I did, but I was trying to figure out a way to add NO duplicates to my Sales Force (SF ID) column. But, in trying to do this, I had a couple of queries that I would run for my reps to tell me what orders I had pending with them, but... for some reason, when I run the query, the SF ID column looks like it has a check box in it filled in. Any ideas on how to get it to show up? In my form/table when I look there, in my SF section (that field) it shows up just fine. Thanks!






That TIP did not work.. Same issue exists I deleted all my Queries and added a new one. same issue.

the checkbox implies you have set the datatype to yes/no in some way (no idea how). If the table is OK, then just recreate your query, paying particular attention to the SFID column.

Just a tip for the future, avoid spaces in field names. If you want to display them with spaces, use the caption property, that is what it is for

Same issue..

I have other queries with the SF Field and they don't show that check box figure.

OK.. Now I really screwed it up. I went to my Table where the SF ID was located and Deleted that Field and then tried to re ad it, however, all the SF Id's that I had entered are missing now. I sure WISH I had got a straight answer here as the original suggestion did not work. So, I tried on my own to figure it out. Is there a way to get back all the SF ID's that I had in there?

I have idea, I just got a new Lap top and actually have the old MS data base on that. Granted it's 2 weeks old, but it has all the information in it, couldn't I just bring it into this computer and the newer version of MS Access? I think I can

You NEVER work on/modify your operational/production database without a backup copy.

You should be able to copy the old db file to the same computer that you were using. Then open the latest version and copy any damaged tables or queries with new names.
Then Get External Data and copy the old table/query into the latest db. You could try updating either the imported table or the later version with the data from the other.

When you're back to the original state, maybe post pictures of the query and table design views. As my signature always implies, experiment on copies of your db or its objects.

Thanks... sounds a bit confusing. I am going to try putting a copy of my older MS Data base 2013 to my new labtop and then import it to my new mS Access 2016? Or get external data route to import it to my machine I use now. Thanks
