    Adding Fiedls in the Access Forms

    Hi There,




    I added fields in the first page in the Access Forms but same fields are appearing in the the second and third pages as well. How to resolve?

    I presume this is a tab control? You can't do some things, such as copy/paste. Select the control and position it so that the page is highlighted before letting go.

    I added First_Name field into the Test1 Page but Test2 page is also showing the First_Name field.It is automatically appearing and i dont want this field in the Test2 page. When i delete field from Test2 page it will also delete from the Test1 Page too.

    Did you do as I said and wait for the page to be highlighted? If not, that is exactly what happens, the control is added to the form, not to the page.

    There is something that has the control from your picture above, is that a subform? The tab object should have the lines around it.

    i can see option for Tab control and subform but i dont know how to highlight it. I never use access before so i am not much familiar with it.

    What are you trying to do? Delete the tab control and start again. First, add the tab control. Second, start adding text boxes to the relevant page - click on the text box icon, drag to the tab control. It will not work if the tab control does not get highlighted in the middle of this process (mine turns black).

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
