Sample Northwind database problem

Good Day All,

I am referencing the Sample Northwind database 2007.



I have created a purchase order for a item, then created an order, invoice it , shipped it and Close the order.

My problem is that when the product table is opened these transactions are not reflected.

Can anyone explain why?

The transactions are reflected in the Purchase orders and Purchase orders details.

As in open do you just have the table open in a window? If I am understanding right, it won't reflect changes unless you close and reopen that window to view the records again? On a form it will update or you can do a requery as needed.
