    what does #name? mean

I am sure this question must have been asked before, but here it goes again. I am working on a MS Access 2010 database that I inherited from somebody else. In several of the forms that are setup to input values, the term '#name? " appears in the control. I am not sure what this means.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

    Lou Reed

Means it cannot find the Control Source for that field. Go into design of the form and look at the properties of that field and see if the control source is a correct field in your table. If your table is linked it could mean the connect is bad, click on the linked table and see if you get data.
