Access not working for any function.

Hello, I'm new to the forum so you may have to forgive me if I don't post some needed information.
Yesterday my Access 2003 started acting strange. I can open Access but then if I select any button or option on Access it just freezes up and nothing works. This happens with or without a database open. I can not Minimize, Maximize, or close the Access window.

The only way to close Access is with the Task Manager.
Ant thoughts as to my problem?

Do you have any task running at startup,
    like autoexec macro,or startup form?

if access locks with out a db,then you may need to repair access install,or reinstall.

No on the autoexec. I tried a repair but that did nothing. Guess i will try a reinstall if i can find the CD
    Thank for the reply Ranman.

Well, tried the reinstall but still not working. Access will open as it should, then I can either open an existing db or create a new one. As soon as the Table window appears an i click to expand the window it seems to lock but takes 2 or 3 minuted to respond to the maximize command.

Windows 10 with Access 2003 is a risky combination. MS doesn't care what it does to Access 2003 when doing updates, is there any way you can get to a later office?

Thought of a virus and ran several scans and uncovered nothing.
Here is the odd thing of the day. This morning it is working fine, no problems what so ever!
    Maybe Access went on strike?
Anyway, things are good now so thanks for the help
I hope no one is offended by this, Merry Christmas and wish all have a happy and safe new year!
