Calculate field

    Hi, all! First question

I have built a small program like a payroll. It registers the employees in one table and Monthly payments in another. Now I want to add a field to the payment table where the total salary is calculated. meaning it should sum the months registered. Is this possible

Regards

Anders Yuran, Cyprus

IMHO it is usually best to do calculations as and when needed in a query rather than saved in a table field.
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.

Yes I only need it when I print out the payslips so you are right. I will figure it out. Thanks
