Diference betwwen two views of the same form

I have a db system with tables and their associated forms.



When I look a at certain form "Personnel" in datasheet view and then look at it in design view, it seems that
a couple of entries are missing on the datasheet view. These entries that are missing are in the far left side.

I do not remember removing them, but it seems whatever is in the datasheet view is in the design view. Is there a way to accidentally delete
them in datasheet view?

I do see how one can have fewer entries than the other. In my case having the datasheet view missing two entries
that are present in design view.

May I add them back in datasheet view or is that not allowed?

Maybe you closed them up while in Datasheet view, which is allowed. It seems to me there is a function key or menu item to expand all of the cells again.

On my ac2013 it is on a right click menu of the title bar of the datasheet. "Unhide Fields"

That worked this time. Except thqat It put those two categories at the end of the datasheet. I want them up front. Not at the end.

In datasheet view you can move the fields around.

I just tried that and it worked. I did not realize that to move you must first select it and then select it again to move it around. Thanks.

There are lots of "features" of datasheet view, which is why I use a Continuous Form. It can look the same but you have a lot more control over the form. With Datasheet view the user can change the heck out of it and you're left wondering what happened. Have fun with your project.
