Access 2007 won't sort

I just opened up a database that I've worked on for several weeks (sorting the columns where needed to do my work). For some strange reason, it won't allow me to sort anymore! Very inconvenient because I'm doing tax paperwork and need to be able to find records out of a database over 1000 records long. I'm going to shut down and reboot to see if this impacts the issue, but may need help. Thanks.

I finally got it to work! Weird.
