I have been assigned for a task in my company. i'm receiving some packs daily for my work and turnaround time is 45 hrs. so i want to create an error message which should pop up when it reaches 45hour from the time of receive. i dont know how to do this. can any one help on this. i'm using ms access 2010 version.

i've created a table and one field to capture the received time. after that i'm unable to proceed as i'm very new to ms access

you need to give more detail. what is taking 45 hours? Your complete work, or the db functionality?
    are you importing data?

    more info.

As ranman says you'll have to provide more details. For your benefit and to assist readers, and you colleagues:

Write a description in simple terms of the task before you. Start with a 30,000 ft overview and gradually add more details. Make it more of a "day in the life of my business". Avoid jargon and don't use Access terminology.
Make it a description that your colleagues could agree/alter/rephrase etc. Make it a good, complete specification, and you have a better chance of developing a database that matches your requirement.

    Good luck with your project.
