can we search a record in a report form?

Please tell us exactly what you mean by a report form.

A report is typically a "printed document". A form is an interface for the user to see/manipulate data that is stored in tables.

It would be helpful if you gave an example of your data and a typical search request.

In my view, a report could be used to show the results of a search-- but I don't know your set up or requirement.

Orange, yes you are right a report is a printed document however, before printing the report, you can see the format in your screen.

This is were I want to create a search. When i created the report, and use the find CTRL F, it was able to search an info on the first try, however, when it was used again to search another data, the error appears.

is there a way to search in the report view?
