Question State Field displaying "8" instead of FL (pictures included)

I have an issue with some entries in one of my tables. The data for the fields entered through the form are showing up as the ID # assigned to an entry not the entry.

As you can see the State is displaying as an 8 not FL (this will happen to every record if I go back into the form and change the state)

Then I have errors like this when I scroll through the rest of the table

Once again I am getting numbers instead of White, Hispanic, other, etc

Any idea whats going on? and how to fix it?

    Thanks,

    Keith

If you're using a combo box, it sounds like the bound column is a numeric ID field. That's actually normal; you store the ID value in related tables, get the text value by joining the tables together in a query.
