    False parameter query

In the attached document, I have screen shots of my query. In my query I have a calculated field which uses an IIF formula. When I try to run the query, Access seems to think that I am trying to do a parameter query even though I am not.

What is wrong with my syntax that is causing Access to expect a parameter?

First, cannot compare to Null. Review Error 5 in this article http://allenbrowne.com/casu-12.html

You don't get prompted for PaidAmount1? I don't see any reason for either to be prompted. Odd.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Thank you for your reply. I wondered about PaidAmount1. So I entered a value after the first prompt, then I was prompted for PaidAmount1.

In short, I am trying to find a way to display a zero value in cases where there is a null. I think Error 2 in your link is the answer. Thank you for the link.
