Access Print View Problem

So i am new in using access. and i hope i got the thread in the right place
I developed a project that creates reports of events.
I have placed a button so i can print the reports. When i press the Print button, it brings up the Print Preview mode.


The problem is that the whole program freezes without allowing me to click anything. Although if i open any windows that covers up the access program it is responsive again.
Any ideas of what is going wrong?

if the button code says:
docmd.openreport "report",acViewPreview

then remove the comma acViewPreview and it will print directly to printer

Also, there is this thing called Report View. I rarely find a need for report view, but I think it will open in a tabbed window, just like a form does. So maybe what you desire is to use Report View instead of Print Preview.
