Is it the Event template that ships with Access 2007? I loaded it and will look at it.

It is in the query that is the RecordSource of the [Event List] form. Look in the criteria of the [Current Events] query and clear it.
Ok here is a copy of everything I got through last night, let me know if you need help making your way through it. A lot of the original elements from the templates are still there because I am afraid to delete them and ruin the parts I need.
The thing you have to look at it is the Events List. Why is the ID 1 event being hidden automatically?

I just saw your reply as I posted it....and did it and it worked. Thank you for that. If you want, you can still take a peak at my manipulations of the two templates and tell me what you think. I am open to criticism and suggestions. It still needs a little fine tuning....like changing some of the roster fields to be more relevant. Like Guardians isn't really necessary for us, nor is Room. I will probably change that to Degree Major and/or schedule.
It sounds to me like this thread is pretty well Solved. Are you ready to follow the link in my sig and mark it?
Already done. Thanks for your help....I appreciate you staying with me through all of this, despite my frustrations.
Glad I could help.
I am trying to open the attachment Members DataBase posted by Guinea on the Forum "access" and thred name is link meeting with roster.I get the error message "unexpected end of archive".What can i do?
If you are talking about Post #48, I just downloaded it again and it works just fine. Did you right click first and "Unblock" the file?
yes i am talking about post no 48.when i right click on the attachment i do not see "unblock" file.how else can i download?
Left clicking on the attachment should eventually give you a Open or Save dialog box. pressing save should open a dialog that allows you to select the location. Is that not happening?
yes i do that and i save the attachment.when i go to that location where i would saved the to open the database thats when i receive the message "unexpected end of archive"
Sounds like an incomplete download, please try re-downloading it.
ok let me try again.will back
