Probably a newbie question, Database Compare, where is it?

    Hello

I've been searching the web and can't really seem to find an answer, though I may just be blind, so sorry if I am.

I have two databases where one of them is the original, and the other one is an updated one. I would like to compare the two databases, in order to find the difference. I heard there is an add on called Database Compare with Office 365, which I have. Though I can't find where to use it, is it incorporated in Access 2016 or does it have its own executable?

    Thanks for all the help!

Your issue is that you cannot located the download? Does this help https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/...or=-2147217396

The only add-in I've ever used (Rick Fisher's Find & Replace) - once downloaded and installed it is found on the Database Tools table Add-ins section.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

More that I can't do the steps under To open and use Database Compare in the link you gave, since I don't have a shortcut on the menu. So I can't start it, seeing as I don't know where to start it from.

It says you start it from Windows Start button, not within Access.

Just like starting any other Windows MS Office app - like Excel, Word, Access.

Assuming it has been properly installed.
