    Where does this Subform/Subreport go?

In the tutorial that is found here:http://www.functionx.com/access/Lesson37.htm

toward the end on step 73. the instructional command is :

In the Controls section of the Ribbon, click Subform/SubReport and click the form under the previously

    added combo box.

    What.

I am confused, exactly where is that?

    Respectfully,

    Lou Reed

Right under the "Car rented" combo box. You can see it in the image after step 78.

Did you add the CarRented combobox to the RentalOrders form (steps 61-72)?

Just do what the instructions state: Click the subform/subreport container design icon to select that control then click on the RentalOrders form just below the combobox.

I did instructions 61-72 as instructed. It just was not clear where the Subform/Subreport should go.

Consider the lesson 37 that has a link at the top of this page. Toward the end, I get to a certain place and things fall apart.

I repeated instructions 61-72 to check for errors. I did not feel good about my initial run through.

    On 66. it says:

"In the fourth page of the wizard, accept the default and click Next. "

The problem is that there is no default, it is just a blank screen. Is this intentional?

    In step 67., it says:

"In the fifth page of the wizard, review the list and click Next."

I can do that, it is just that there is nothing in the list. What is going on?

Everything following 67. 68-71, seems to go okay. I am not sure if I am doing the steps 66. and 67. correctly.

    Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

    Lou Reed

    66. is to define sort order - the default is to leave it as is - no field specified.

    67. should list values that are in the fields - if no data has been entered, there will not be any items to show

Okay, but it sounded or should I say read like something was expected to be found in each step. It just
did not seem reasonable. Anyway thanks.
